The Wallet : Are Your Kids Ready to Manage Their Money — Or Yours?: "Among focal points today’s wealthy kids need, in Howell’s view: savings, investing, entrepreneurship and philanthropy. Parents should take their young children to the bank, involving them in financial decisions and processes — such as setting savings targets, even for small amounts of money — early on. Howell also recommends investment clubs for kids, and says parents should teach their children the importance of developing the education and leadership skills they’ll need to make money themselves — as many of their parents have."
