Growing Hope Together & Newfield 3rd Grade Donate Fresh Produce | theithacajournal.com | The Ithaca Journal: "Growing Hope Together, a local non-profit organization, has begun harvesting vegetables out of the garden that was planted in front of the Newfield Schools by Newfield 3rd grade classes. The fresh produce is being donated to the local food bank at the Newfield United Methodist Church. Laura Smith, Director of GHT, has recently returned from a trip to Simenya, Kenya where a similar but larger school garden project is also in the works."
