Without help, nonprofit will close | CharlotteObserver.com & The Charlotte Observer Newspaper: Inspired by his compassion for those who are suffering and led by what he said God told him to do, he began Tyler's Mission at age 3 for the simple purpose of providing toys to the children who didn't have any.
Today, 13 years later, the Christian ministry has grown to helping thousands of families a year. Its growth is a testament to the commitment made by Tyler and his mom, Trish, to help those who are suffering.
