Student volunteers keep nonprofits going | volunteers, cameron, older - Odessa American Online: The two 17-year-old Permian High seniors, both reporting to their duties for their first shift Monday morning, are perhaps a third of the age of the next youngest person there, but they all had the same task at hand, and they seemed to be enjoying it.
“I like to help the community,” Cameron said. “I don’t want to see people starve.”
He and Kyle later loaded a pickup with a cooler filled with food, preparing to deliver to the first of several homes that were on their delivery route.
