Youth Philanthropy Contest to begin in ’13: The year 2013 will be the first year for the Youth Philanthropy Contest presented by the Columbus Area Philanthropy Council and Columbus Area Community Foundation Fund. Thanks primarily to a generous grant from “The Connie Fund” of Norfolk, local youth will have the opportunity to apply for $1,000 grants that they will use as “seed money” to do their own local philanthropy project.
The Youth Philanthropy Contest is an exciting new opportunity for youth and young adults to use their creativity, compassion, and love of their community to make a difference.
