Special needs students perform at charity gala to raise funds - Channel NewsAsia: SINGAPORE: Fourteen special needs students from the Movement for the Intellectually Disabled of Singapore (MINDS) Lee Kong Chian Gardens School sang their hearts out on Friday evening at the Community Chest Charity Gala to raise funds for 83 charities.
The total amount collected will largely go to funding programmes for beneficiaries supported by Community Chest.
Nine-year-old Sarah Chong, who has Down Syndrome, was the youngest member of the choir -- called The Super Trouper Choir -- to perform on Friday.
