Pitt graduate students issue grants as part of philanthropy program - Pittsburgh Tribune-Review: "Rioja, 25, of Ross and Nitsa Ford, 39, of Squirrel Hill were graduate students at the University of Pittsburgh learning how to disburse grants, using money from the university and a Pitt donor. Their class set up review boards, issued requests for proposals and set criteria to determine who would get money — and then divided $9,000 among 10 organizations."
