YiP group collecting food, wrapping gifts this month

The Garden Valley Collegiate Youth in Philanthropy group is gearing up for several fundraisers this month.
At the school's Christmas concerts the evenings of Dec. 8 and 9, the students will be collecting donations of non-perishable food items to create hampers for families in need this holiday season. They'll also be collecting food donations door-to-door throughout town on Dec. 10 from 4-5:30 p.m."
