Teen philanthropist drops by DIS before premier of award-winning bio film: n 2004, Zach Bonner's family and neighbors stockpiled supplies, food, and water in anticipation of a direct hit by Hurricane Charley. In their suburb of Tampa, Florida, they were ready. But then Charley took a sharp right turn. The Bonners were relieved that their community was spared the storm's wrath, but they soon learned that Floridians to the south of them were in terribly rough shape. Charley had struck the Fort Myers and Port Charlotte areas with its greatest intensity, and residents found themselves without power, necessities, and - in some cases - homes.
