Noblesville News - Hikmet Kutlu: Youth givers inspire hope for future: "I just returned to my hotel from the Association of Fundraising Professionals’ 45th International Conference on Fundraising 2008 Awards for Philanthropy Banquet. These awards go to people who have done an outstanding job in the world of philanthropy.
Out of eight awards that go to well deserving adults, two go to outstanding youth, ages 18-23 and ages 5-17. And I must tell you the standing ovation these two youth received when they were presented their awards. These two youngsters raised hundreds of thousands of dollars and they are the true future of America. You can be sure the torch of the unparalleled philanthropic service we have in this country is being passed on to the younger generation. That is such a fresh breeze we can all rejoice in. This is true American spirit not easily witnessed anywhere else in the world."
