KID YOU SHOULD KNOW: Columbia High School senior Dalton Warr to enter nonprofit career - Idaho Press-Tribune: Local: The Columbia High School senior and student body president doesn’t yet know where he’ll attend college, but does know what he wants to study.

“I plan to earn a degree that would help me be successful in nonprofit work and nonprofit leadership,” Warr said. “I want my life to mean something to someone and I want to make the most out of what I have.”

Stourbridge student needs help to fund Kenyan charity trip (From Stourbridge News): Bethany Read, who is studying at King Edward VI College, will spend five weeks in the slums of Nairobi, Kenya, working in an orphanage.

The 17-year-old will live in a tin shelter and support children who have lost their parents to diseases such as AIDS or whose families couldn’t afford to keep them.
