Breakfast raises £230 for charity - News Post Leader: "The Ridge Terrace primary’s school hall was full from 8am until the start of lessons as staff served a Continental -style breakfast to the children and their parents.

Deputy headteacher Theresa Worrall said: “I am so proud of the children, parents and staff for their part in this fundraising for a very worthy charity.”"

Foundation programs work to create young philanthropists of color - Buffalo - Buffalo Business First: "A new foundation program will train young people of color about the concept of philanthropy, teaching them about giving as well as giving them the chance to award two grants.
It’s the next in a series of programs developed by the Communities of Giving Legacy Initiative (CGLI), an initiative of the Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo that works to increase philanthropy within and for Western New York communities of color. Other programs include the Success Looks like Me program, and trips to Washington, D.C."

Capstone of the Community | The Lantern: "Each year, Marketing Strategy, a capstone course taught by Shashi Matta, an associate professor of marketing at Fisher College of Business, partners with one local for-profit company and one nonprofit organization to provide free marketing advice to the organizations and real-world experience to Ohio State students.
While all marketing students must complete this capstone course, Matta said that it goes much further than that.
“This course offers students real-world experience and a résumé boost, which doesn’t happen in a typical class setting,” he said."
