Students dine in the dark to learn about vision impairment | News | Wednesday Sun: "Christian and Christopher gained that chance on Nov. 5. Both were invited to “Dining in the Dark,” an experience that places attendees in complete darkness as they eat dinner. The event is designed to help raise awareness of the challenges people who are visually impaired face in their daily lives.
The event served as a fundraiser for Alphapointe Association for the Blind, 7501 Prospect, Kansas City, Mo., but seven students from the Kansas City metro area were invited to attend and then share their experience with their peers."
