Pint-sized philanthropists start early to change the world - OrlandoSentinel.com: "You might call Brandon Wood an ambassador for chimpanzees. From his Kissimmee home, he blogs about his fundraising efforts and campaign to help pass the federal Great Ape Protection Act, which would bar biomedical experimentation on the creatures.

He conducts research, writes letters, fields questions and organizes his outreach efforts — such as the informational booth he manned at a recent Earth Day festival in Orlando. That day, he collected 237 petition signatures and $72 in donations."
