Second-graders from Jersey City's ECCS aid victims of Haitian earhquake | NJ.com: The consequences of the 7.0-magnitude earthquake that ravaged Haiti in January last year might not be headline news anymore, but some second-graders at a Jersey City charter school are doing their part to ease the burden of the quake’s victims.

During the first two weeks of October, students at the Ethical Community Charter School (ECCS), a public school located at 95 Broadway, assembled care packages for families and students in Haiti who were affected by the devastating earthquake of 2010.
