Fairfield Club Kids Add Up Numbers for Charity: NORWALK, Conn. – Two Norwalk teenagers who volunteer in Fairfield recently used their love of math to support educational programs for children.
Sheetal Akole, 16, and Khushwant Dhaliwal, 15, both students at St. Luke's School in New Canaan, spend Saturday afternoons at the Fairfield Math Club coaching fifth- through eighth-graders for national level math contests. They accept donations for the work and then choose a charity the money should go to.
