Teenage energy at Andrew Jackson High kicks off red kettle campaign | members.jacksonville.com: With repeated shouts of “whoo-hoo,” enthusiastic Andrew Jackson High School students kicked off the 2013 return to Jacksonville of The Salvation Army’s red kettle and bell Thursday.

In the school gym, the Jackson marching band, dance team, cheerleaders and other students joined a mascot called Captain Kettle for a raucous pep rally for the Red Kettle campaign, the nonprofit’s Christmas fundraising blitz to help the needy.
