Schoolchildren raise $173,000 for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society - April McClelland-Copeland's Philanthropy - Cleveland.com: "Northeast Ohio's children mean business when it comes to raising money for a good cause. It took only three weeks for more than 100,000 students throughout the area to raise $173,000 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society through the Olive Garden's 14th annual Pasta for Pennies program. Students at 187 schools in Northeast Ohio emptied their pocket change into collection jars to raise money for research and services."
