Doing their bit for society - the teens taking part in the Youth and Philanthropy Initiative - School Gate - Times Online - WBLG: "All were taking part in the Youth and Philanthropy Initiative, which is something every teacher should eagerly find out about and think of introducing to their school. The YPI is part of the Institute of Philanthropy and its aim is to raise awareness and understanding of philanthropy amongst young people, to make them realise that they are part of society too, and can make a difference. £3,000 is donated to charity through the initiative: it goes to whichever group of teenagers produces the best presentation."
