Area youth get a lesson in philanthropy: "The goal of the grant is to get teachers to implement service learning in the classroom and to teach their students how they can give back to their community. The United Way of Michigan provided the training for the teachers, while the Youth Advisory Committee provided the $500, which was used to purchase the painting supplies."
