Portland students award $1,000 grants | Maine News Updates: "The students are part of the Jobs for Maine's Graduates program at each high school. The program serves about 3,200 at-risk youths and has chapters in more than 50 schools across the state.
This year, each chapter received $1,000 from the new Jumpstart Our Youth program, an initiative created by the Unity Foundation with funding from UniTel Inc. and the Maine Community Foundation."
